Earth Day Celebration

In celebration of Earth Day, we’re spotlighting Ian Moore, Corporate Sustainability Specialist at ProAmpac.  

Ian’s interest in sustainability started when he was young and first became aware of the contrast between the pristinely cared for natural environment of New Hampshire and the more rugged urban cityscapes of Boston. This interest led him to pursue a degree in Environmental Conservation and Sustainability in college, where he discovered his passion for finding solutions to environmental challenges in the business sector.  

Ian joined ProAmpac in 2022 and now spearheads ProAmpac’s annual Impact Report. For Ian, the most rewarding aspect of his job is the people and the opportunity to collaborate with colleagues who share his commitment to sustainability. He values the supportive and inclusive environment at ProAmpac, where he feels empowered to make a meaningful impact.  

As an emerging professional, Ian also understands the anxiety that young people can experience as they transition from college into their first job and embark on their career path. He wants young professionals to be confident in their value and potential and, “to know with the corporate world and just the working world in general, everyone's doing their best. Do your best and you'll be OK.” 

With a commitment to continuous learning and a passion for making a difference, Ian embraces the responsibility of shaping a more sustainable future. “Corporate responsibility touches every level of ProAmpac, and sustainability evolves so rapidly, everything's changing at a very quick pace, so there's always something new at each level that is a new problem to be solved."
